Mekane Rama Saint Gabriel received recognition and commendation from the City of San Jose

The City of San Jose has given this commendation for the church's expansion of liturgical service and its help of the community by way of creating networking for new comers. The City also recognized the church's service in providing awareness of the Ethiopian history, culture, language and traditions for the Ethiopian community in the South Bay Area.

His Holiness, Abune Melke Tsedek accepted the commendation and certificate presented by the City. He delivered a brief thank you speech after accepting the commendation by the City Council.
